Improving hinterland connectivity
One of the main issues for efficient transport in Europe is the (inter)connectivity between logistic hubs and (inland)ports. Cargo owners need reliable, green and efficient modes of transport and preferably at low costs. How can we improve connectivity for road, rail and waterway transport? In what way will global trade evolve and what are the consequences for Europe? What are the successful European (inland)ports and connections of today and tomorrow? Professor Alex Van Breedam, co-founder of the world's first impartial orchestrator for transport and logistics, will be your moderator at this edition.
