Succesful second edition of Offshore Day
On November 20th the second edition of Offshore Day took place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Over 150 directors from the offshore energy industry met at this day filled with interesting views and presentations by our highly appreciated speakers. Besides inspiring presentations and panel conversations the discussion continued during the extensive networking moments.
Under the expert guidance of René Peters, Jasper Vis and Jan van Kessel several international leaders from the industry shared their vision on the developments and impact of the energy transition. How do strong collaborations influence the market and which new projects can we expect in the near future?

Inspiring 3rd edition Energy Storage and Distribution
Thank you for joining our 3rd annual conference in Brussels. Inspirational speakers addressed the business cases of energy storage led by Ronnie Belmans, ceo EnergyVille. The Dutch, Belgian and German energy grid was discussed. As new investments in large scale energy distribution is almost no option in this high densed population area, new business models arise in energy storage. We discussed the options and examples for heat, battery and hydrogen with prominent researchers, the EC and directors form the energy and industry. Jurai Nociar, European Commission: "We need to become less dependent of import of energy".
An interactive and inspiring 9th edition of Offshore Industry 2018
Different insights on recent developments and upcoming challenges were shared during Offshore Industry 2018 on Tuesday 29th of May in Rotterdam. Under the expert guidance of moderator Joep Athmer differend (international) top speakers inspired the audience about international and strategic opportunities and practical examples in the offshore sector. Outside it was raining and thundering and inside the discussion on the state of the offshore industry continued during the networking drinks. We look back at a very successful and interactive 9th edition and we look forward celebrating the lustrum edition in 2019!
Looking back on Ports and Hinterland Europe 2018
Together with the Port of Brussels we welcomed over 90 logistic and port professionals on the 4 and 5 October to join the 13th edition of Ports & Hinterland Europe. During this conference we addressed the future challenges on hinterland connections in Europe, as 2018 being the European Year of multimodality. How can we boost multimodality in order to achieve smarter, greener and congestion free transport? Moderator Alex Van Breedam, professor in Antwerp and CEO TRI-VIZOR concluded that we still miss a sense of urgency of how logistics is organized and that we need disruption to change on a large scale. We heard a number of experts sharing their expertise on how the future of logistics will evolve. The future of logistics starts now! We hope to see you next year.

Succesful 9th edition Maritime Industry 2018
Last Tuesday, April 24th, leaders and directors from the maritime industry met at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam at the 9th edition of Maritime Industry. We can look back at a very succesful and interactive conference. The day started with an exclusive tour at superyacht builder Oceanco in Alblasserdam. At the conference Oceanco presented their vision on "how to survice in a niche market".
Led by the moderator of the day, Patrick van Eerten, the afternoon was filled with other presentations from several leading parties from the industry as Damen, Rolls Royce and Wärtsilä. Topics as ship innovations, new shipdesigns and the future of the industry were discussed.
