Looking back on Ports and Hinterland Europe 2018
Together with the Port of Brussels we welcomed over 90 logistic and port professionals on the 4 and 5 October to join the 13th edition of Ports & Hinterland Europe. During this conference we addressed the future challenges on hinterland connections in Europe, as 2018 being the European Year of multimodality. How can we boost multimodality in order to achieve smarter, greener and congestion free transport? Moderator Alex Van Breedam, professor in Antwerp and CEO TRI-VIZOR concluded that we still miss a sense of urgency of how logistics is organized and that we need disruption to change on a large scale. We heard a number of experts sharing their expertise on how the future of logistics will evolve. The future of logistics starts now! We hope to see you next year.
