On the 25th of November we will create a valuable journey in just one day: starting from digital transformation as a starting point, evolving towards a cyber compliant (and cyber mature) company. The most important questions in this journey are what to prioritize, how to become compliant from different angles, which certification to use, what are the first and the next steps in order to also meet future regulations. Meet up, learn and share at this day and be part of this significant evolution in maturing your company towards a cyber proof business for NIS2 and beyond.
Are you leading a transport, critical infrastructure, energy, port, maritime, industrial, chemical production and distribution company? Join us in Brussels and learn how to comply. Learn how to put in place a robust risk management framework to reduce the consequences of cyber incidents and comply with NIS2. The next step is to have a resilience framework for the whole supply chain, considering the vulnerabilities specific to each link. This strategic transformation conference focuses on critical, essential and important businesses, the companies that have to be compliant first.

Digital Transformation from a boardroom perspective.
Business continuity, agility, monitoring, governance, people and management.
Governance, international scope, compliance, what to prioritize?
Karel Dekyvere, Director Cyber Team, KPMG Belgium
Johan Klykens, Director Cybersecurity Certification Authority, CCB
The Belgian approach on NIS2 compliance is an approach that is able to answer to other business challenges. Approaching NIS2 compliance as an enabler for secure digital transformation can maximize valorization of cybersecurity investments.
Hussain Ahmed, Senior Manager Cyber & Privacy, Strategy & Risk, KMPG Belgium
Cyber resilience is at the heart of NIS2, which mandates robust security measures, incident management protocols, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring organizations can withstand and recover from disruptive cyber incidents. By implementing these robust practices which form the basis of an organizational internal information security framework, NIS2 becomes the critical engine for enhancing the overall cyber resilience of the organization and builds the foundation which could eventually cater for future cyber regulatory requirements.
Closing debate
Business continuity, Coordinated vulnerability disclosure policy, Risk Analysis, Certification, recovery plan, monitoring, collaboration, Legal implications
• Karel Dekyvere, Director Cyber Team, KPMG Belgium
• Johan Klykens, Director Cybersecurity Certification Authority, CCB

This conference is organized at KPMG office Zaventem
Brussels National Airport 1K. Zaventem, 1930 Belgium
The first companies that have to apply are invited for this conference. The impact of NIS2 will be significant, because companies that collaborate with companies that fall under the NIS2 directive will also have to take similar measures. As the conference is strategic we advise to have a board member and high level management present at this day. It is not a technical IT event.
The two categories that NIS2 will apply to first:
Sectors of high criticality:
- Energy (electricity, district heating and cooling, petroleum, natural gas, hydrogen)
- Transport (air, rail, water, road)
- Banking
- Financial market infrastructure
- Health
- Drinking and Waste water
- Digital infrastructure
- ICT service management
- Public administration
Other critical sectors:
- Postal and courier services
- Waste management
- Manufacture, production and distribution of chemicals
- Production, processing and distribution of food
- Manufacturing
- Digital providers
- Research
